Een bijzonder album. Ook al vond ik 10cc indertijd geweldig en wist ik dat Godley & Creme hun eigen weg gingen om de "gizmo" te ontwikkelen, ik kende het driedubbele album "Consequences" niet. De gizmo was een soort effectapparaatje dat je op de snaren van een gitaar kon bevestigen, waardoor je allerlei geluiden met een gitaar kon produceren.

Storia. Il duo, composto da Kevin Godley e Lol Creme, si è formato dopo lo scioglimento della pop band 10cc nel 1977. Nel 1979 il duo ha diretto il video del proprio singolo An Englishman in New York.Da quel momento hanno lavorato alla direzioni di videoclip musicali per altri artisti come Ultravox, The Police, Duran Duran, Herbie Hancock, Sting, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Wang Chung.

Manufactured in the EU. Tracks 1-10. Recorded at Strawberry Studios, 3 Waterloo Road, Stockport, Cheshire and The Manor Studios, Shipton-on-Cherwell, Oxon. Tracks 11-17. Recorded at Surrey Sound Studios, Leatherhead, Surrey between March and June 1978. Issued in a standard jewel case with a 16-page booklet. Total playing time 75:31.
3 de jul. de 2023 · 1981 album Ismism was recorded at a chaotic point in their lives. “Music was changing, we were changing,” recalls Godley. “This was a seriously busy and schizophrenic time.”. They were now much sought after as video directors and had also been busy installing a small studio in Creme’s house when Godley slipped a disc.
