13 de may. de 2024 · A combination drive through and walk through zoo, we got the best of both worlds. The wildlife was not as exotic as the North Carolina Zoo we went to in January, but the bears, bison, mountain goats, reindeer, donkeys, arctic wolves, red fox, badger, bobcat, leopards, elk and other wildlife (that we have on or next to our 80 acres back home) deserved our admission fees.

The original collection of animals at The Joburg Zoo when it opened included one lion, one leopard, one giraffe, two Sable Antelope bulls, one Baboon, one Genet, a pair of Rhesus Monkeys, a pair of Porcupines and one Golden Eagle. The Joburg Zoo gets up to 515 623 visitors annually (2019).
