Hace 4 días · Richard Donner’s mandate for Superman was “verisimilitude,” and indeed, the film fulfilled its tagline’s promise of making viewers believe a man can fly. Thanks to Christopher Reeve’s performance, Superman can also make viewers believe in Superman’s ability to keep his two identities secret, with Reeve believably playing the two as separate people.
