Created by Laura Kittrell, the series will follow a young Elle Woods (the role originated by Witherspoon) in her high school years. The original Legally Blonde film, released in 2001, followed Elle, a recently-dumped sorority sister who heads to Harvard to win back her ex-boyfriend only to realise she’s a darn good lawyer.
