6 de may. de 2024 · David Jon Gilmour was born on the 6th of March 1946 in Cambridge, England, and is best known for his work with Pink Floyd. In addition to being a musician, he is most known for his work with the rock band Pink Floyd, with whom he has been the main guitarist and co-lead singer for more than 40 years and has achieved worldwide fame.
3 de may. de 2024 · David Gilmour has today announced his first live shows in London in eight years in support of his new album Luck and Strange (out 6th September). The shows - the first to be announced around the new album - will take place at London’s Royal Albert Hall on the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th & 15th of October, 2024, and will be the only UK dates.

3 de may. de 2024 · Gilmour has said in one of the John Eddington interviews that he thought Syd's solo material was stronger than his Floyd material, but no producer (including himself and Waters) managed to coax out a performance/recording to capture them properly. There is also a performance of Dominoes on the dvd of his Meltdown concerts.
