Appice’s breakthrough came when he collaborated with guitarist Jeff Beck and bassist Tim Bogert to form the supergroup Beck, Bogert & Appice in the early 1970s. The band’s self-titled album showcased their musical prowess and cemented Carmine’s reputation as a top-tier drummer in the rock genre.
