He only lived long enough to complete two movements. In order to avoid having to repay the initial down payment, his widow went to great lengths to secure help from former pupils to complete the work.

I think the scene that haunts me the most is at the end when Sara’s two friends visit her in the mental hospital. Seeing how different she looks and then the cut to them weeping in each others arms outside.
9 de may. de 2024 · Requiem for a Dream 2000 ★★★★. This movie did more for me in terms of drug prevention than anything shown to me in a health class growing up. Immediate mood killer and left me pretty sullen if I'm being honest, this movie portrayed the horrors of drug addiction/abuse so well like literally holy shit I'm PETRIFIED .
