Over the last 50 years Turre has played with a ‘who’s who’ of the jazz world, including Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, J.J. Johnson, Herbie Hancock, Roland Kirk, Pharoah Sanders, Horace Silver and Max Roach.
