These are made up of the uses of math. There are so many uses of math in our lives. Every aspect of life depends upon the use of numbers and arithmetic.

In looking at the real life applications of the math concepts in every section, I do not find anything to be culturally offensive. The examples seem quite simplistic and neutral to me. Perhaps if the author could add more interesting or imaginative ways to demonstrate the real life applications of the concepts, this would be the way to add more cultural diversity.
