BORIS KARLOFF. (1887-1969) Medía 1’80. Legendario intérprete del cine de terror, William Henry Pratt (nombre real de Boris Karloff) nació el 23 de noviembre de 1887 en Camberwell, Londres (Inglaterra), en el seno de una familia numerosa, siendo el más joven de ocho hermanos. Sus padres se llamaban Edward John Pratt y Eliza Sarah Millard.
Karloff would become the second actor in the family and would follow in the footsteps of his favourite brother George, a onetime actor who had eventually left the profession to work as a salesman. Sadly, George died of pneumonia in 1904, aged only thirty-six. Yet, despite George’s sorry ending, Karloff’s mind was made up.
