  4. Jul 2020. There are two major attractions near Meiringen, the Aareschlucht Gorge (which is also well worth a visit) and the Reichenbach Falls. These watterfalls are a very nice attraction to visit with a fun funicular train ride to get up to them. Nice in combination with the Aareschlucht visit.
