Gayle Rubin, född 1 januari 1949, är en amerikansk kulturantropolog och mest känd för sina publikationer om kön och genus. Rubin fick sitt genombrott 1975 med "The Traffic in Women: Notes on the 'Political Economy' of Sex" där hon myntade begreppet kön/genus-system.
