  4. Francys Arsentiev, or the Sleeping Beauty of Mount Everest, died of Hypothermia and Cerebral Edema. Hypothermia is an illness caused due to prolonged exposure to extreme cold. Since Francys and her husband had been at 8600 meters of Everest for around 3 days, the harsh climate got to her, resulting in her death.
