The Judy Garland Museum® was founded in 1975 by Jackie Dingmann to honor this great 20th Century artist, and Grand Rapids native, Judy Garland. The new 13,000 square foot Museum observed its grand opening in June 2003.

Judy Garland Museum. This modest house in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, was home to Judy Garland for her first four years. The 1920's home has been restored to look and feel as it did when the Gumm Family lived there many years ago. Come see where "Baby Gumm" got her start.

The grounds feature a memorial flower garden and gazebo. The adjacent museum gallery showcases a wide variety of artifacts from Judy’s musical and theatrical career, personal awards and effects, movie memorabilia, and the carriage used in The Wizard of Oz. An extensive gift shop is filled with Wizard of Oz and Judy Garland items.
