So Mystery Weekend is the second film in the franchise and they don’t really reestablish who anyone is. From what I gather Kellie Martin’s character owns a book store that only sells mystery books, she’s a photographer with her own dark room, her best friend is the assistant district attorney, she’s got a man with all sorts of connections working alongside of her, and she solves murders.
