Immanuel Kant (* 22. apríl 1724, Kráľovec – † 12. február 1804, tamže) bol predstaviteľ nemeckej klasickej filozofie; tvorca kriticizmu alebo transcendentalizmu, či transcendentálnej filozofie. Kant sa narodil vo východopruskom Königsbergu (terajší Kaliningrad), kde žil až do svojej smrti.
