Now, twenty-five years on, Tony – a man with connections to the Faithful County that very few might even know of – is going on a tour of his own, sharing his story of his time in the band that would go on to become the biggest in the world.
Tony McCarroll, född 27 juni 1972 i Manchester, England, är en brittisk musiker. Han var med och grundade The Rain, som senare skulle bli Oasis, tillsammans med Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs och Paul McGuigan och spelade trummor i bandet.
Biography. Oasis were formed in Manchester in 1991. They were originally called The Rain before Noel joined the band. Prior to Noel joining, the band consisted of: Liam Gallager: lead vocals, Paul Authurs: guitar, Paul McGuigan: bass, and Tony McCarroll: drums. Before joining Oasis, Noel was a roadie/technician for the band Inspiral Carpets.

Comienzos con The Rain y Oasis. A fines de la década de 1980, Guigsy creó una banda con sus amigos: Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs (en guitarra), Tony McCarroll (batería) y Chris Hutton (cantante principal). Cuando Hutton se retiró del grupo, Guigsy invitó a un amigo de su escuela, Liam Gallagher, a que se uniera a la banda, el cual propuso cambiar el nombre de la banda por el de Oasis.
