Roy Kelton Orbison (Vernon, Texas, 23 april 1936 – Nashville, Tennessee, 6 december 1988) was een Amerikaanse country-en rock zanger.Hij staat sinds 1987 in de Rock and Roll Hall of Fame en de Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.In 1989 werd hij opgenomen in de Songwriters Hall of Fame.In 2006 kreeg Orbison postuum een ster op de Music City Walk of Fame en in 2010 op de Hollywood Walk of Fame.
