Joey Molland: “We recorded it and put it on the No Dice album, Nilsson heard it, and the story goes he thought it was a Beatles song and asked John Lennon about it. I always get a kick about this bit of the story, but I guess John Lennon said that’s a Badfinger song, which means to me that he knew it, which is really funny you know.
