7 de sept. de 2022 · Imaad Wasif: There were definitely lyrics and ideas that got shifted over. Part of my process, normally, is that I write a lot of songs and a lot of them mutate and transform into other things. These songs just seemed to all of a sudden tap into a very minimalistic kind of spectrum for me that was cutting to this idea of full transparency.

The centrepiece track Return to You is reaching a crescendo of magnificently malevolent rock 'n' roll when the Canadian guitarist's yearning for lost love suddenly becomes a full-blown howl, like a man on the edge of a breakdown.
