Storia Gli inizi. I Subways cominciarono a suonare molto presto; Billy aveva 17 anni, Charlotte e Josh 15. Inizialmente, sotto il nome di Mustardseed, iniziarono a provare nella casa di Billy e Josh (i due sono fratelli, Josh porta il cognome della madre) canzoni di gruppi celebri come i Nirvana ed altri pezzi punk.Dopo aver cambiato il nome in Platypus parteciparono a piccoli concerti.
