  7. As previously stated, the Monks of Doom began life as a side project for Camper Van Beethoven. Founded in 1986 the quartet consisted of Krummenacher, Lisher, Pedersen and Chris Molla on guitar. After 6 months, Molla was fired from Camper for a lack of commitment. He also left the Monks and was quickly replaced in both bands by Immerglück.
