15 de jun. de 2016 · Just a quick question. My car is all together now. Below is the list of what I have done so far: It was misfiring at one point but fixed itself after I replaced the spark plug wires. Now however I have a smell of petrol coming from the exhaust pipe area. There is no dripping from the exhaust but the smell is strong.

But my son followed me and he said he could smell petrol now I'm worried again so next stop garage although it was looked at before and no problem found 🤔any ideas folks ...

7 de jul. de 2016 · Posted July 7, 2016. Hi All, When my GF is driving her Mk4 with the windows open a smell of petrol enters the car. Upon investigation the smell seems to come from the filler area but not the filler itself. I cannot see any evidence of a leak anywhere and the exhaust does not seem to be blowing.

Hi guys I have a Zaf 1.6 manual 2007 petrol and the wife keeps saying she can smell petrol inside the car well today I can smell it and wondered what it could be? it pinks a hell of a lot too so not sure if they are related in any way, ive looked under the bonnet and there are no wet patches or smells ...

Over the last few months I've noticed a strong smell of petrol/exhaust in my house. I assumed for ages it was just coming in from the street but my husband can't smell it. And actually, I live in a cul-de-sac, very quiet!
