'The Last Confederate' is a Civil War Love Story based on the true story of people in my hometown of Columbia, South Carolina in Richland County. As a civil war buff, I learned alot in this movie, ie, had no idea they shipped so many confederates to the prison in Elmira, NY toward the end of the war because of overcrowding.
