In general, this is a simple and calm movie, being often funny and light-hearted. It also has some action (without overdoing it), drama, emotional and touching moments, fun and entertainment. The concept and the idea of the movie is interesting and the movie is well made, being film-making of quality.
After escaping from a maximum-security research facility, D.A.R.Y.L. (Data Analyzing Robot Youth Lifeform) is rescued and adopted by the Richardson family. Domestic bliss ensues until D.A.R.Y.L.’s actual “parents,” two scientists, come to claim him.
1 de may. de 2018 · One could almost call D.A.R.Y.L. a precursor to Steven Spielberg’s A.I. Artificial Intelligence – both films having definite Pinocchio themes – and though the film does briefly drift into the heady waters of speculative science fiction it spends the bulk of its time in the family adventure genre, that kind you’d find in your average Disney movie.
