My Neighbors The Yamadas is a very good anime from the late great Isao Takahata (also known for "Grave of the Fireflies" & "Only Yesterday" among others is a very humorous & charming anime movie with different skits revolving around the Yamada family, including the parents, a son & daughter & a live-in Grandmother, much like many families in Japanese culture.
