Henry J. (1951 to 1953) FOLLOW MARKET. The Henry J was a series of entry-level cars introduced for the 1951 model year. Built by Kaizer-Frazer, the Henry J was named after one of the company's founders, Henry J Kaiser. These cars were offered in a two door sedan body style, and powered by either a 2.2L inline four, or a 2.6L inline six engine.

Kaiser-Frazer was an upstart company in 1947 being the first and only large-scale new automotive builder coming out after World War II. Their first major body design lasted from 1947 to 1950. In 1951 the next body design was rolled out with great hopes, and approximately 100,000 cars sold that year.
