Giacomo Agostini (né le 16 juin 1942 à Brescia, Italie) est un pilote de vitesse moto dans les catégories 350 cm 3, 500 cm 3 et 750 cm 3. Surnommé Ago, il est encore aujourd'hui le pilote de motos le plus titré de l'histoire du championnat du monde, avec quinze titres mondiaux , record qu'il sera difficile d'approcher car il courait dans deux catégories par week-end.

Giacomo made his breakthrough in 1965, at the age of 23, when he rode a 350cc bike to victory in its first race, at the Nurburgring. He narrowly missed out on his first World Championship that year. Following the departure of Hailwood to Honda, he became MV’s No 1 rider and responded by winning his first 500cc World Championship in 1966.
