Sir Harry Llewellyn (1911-1999), Businessman, showjumping administrator and equestrian; Olympian. Sir Henry Morton ('Harry') Llewellyn, 3rd Bt. 18 de oct. de 2005 · Sir Henry Morton Llewellyn, 3rd Bt. was born on 18 July 1911. 1 He was the son of Sir David Richard Llewellyn, 1st Bt. and Magdalene Anne Harries. 1 He married Hon. Christine Saumarez, daughter of James St. Vincent Broke Saumarez, 5th Baron de Saumarez and Gunhild Balck, on 15 April 1944. 2 He died on 15 November 1999 at age 88. 1.
Sir Henry Morton (Harry) Llewellyn (Aberdare, 8 juli 1911 - Abergavenny, 15 november 1999) was een Brits ruiter, die gespecialiseerd was in springen. Llewellyn nam tweemaal deel aan de Olympische Zomerspelen en won in 1948 in eigen land de bronzen medaille in de landenwedstrijd.
Harry Llewellyn and Foxhunter became as much of a double-act as ham and eggs or fish and chips. They helped the British show jumping team strike gold in the 1952 Olympic Games in the final round in Helsinki with a clear round that was in stark contrast to their earlier effort, in which they picked up 16.5 faults.
