Paul di Resta (born April 16, 1986 in Livingston West Lothian) is a Scottish auto racing driver. He is the current DTM champion. He make his Formula One debut in the 2011 Australian Grand Prix with the Force India, finishing in the points with a 10th place finish.

Paul di Resta cams from a family with a strong racing background – his cousins were IndyCar champion and Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti and sports car driver Marino Franchitti.. Di Resta began karting in 1994 before moving up to Formula Renault in 2003 and then entering the F3 Euroseries in 2005. He won the European F3 crown at his second attempt in 2006, beating team mate Sebastian Vettel.
