Entre los suyos abundan los pilotos de carreras, pues tuvo un tío, Louis Trintignant, que falleció durante el entrenamiento de una carrera, y otro tío, Maurice Trintignant, ganó en Le Mans y dos veces en el Gran Premio de Mónaco.
