  6. Wilfrid Brambell. Wilfrid was born on 22 March 1912, in Dublin, Ireland. It must be assumed that he got his love of theatre and the arts from his mother who was an amateur opera singer. He claimed his first acting experience when he was aged just two, as he happily entertained wounded soldiers returning from action during the First World War.
