My love for the Mandalaband dates back to 1976, when that tremendous album "Eye of Wendor" was released (on vinyl) with collaborations of members of 10cc, BJH and the Moody Blues(and Maddy Prior of course), what a beautiful album. David Rohl, the initiator of the Mandalaband was/is a producer turned Egyptologist.
22 de sept. de 2019 · Eye of Wendor is een leuke conceptplaat met ene vaag verhaal, mooie gastbijdragen, maar het wordt wel heel snel erg flauw en melig. Zo'n plaat als deze is ook veel te serieus. Het had wel iets frivoler en luchtiger gemogen. Maar veel conceptplaten over fantasy waren veel té serieus. Dan is Rockpommel's Land van Grobbschnitt toch wat luchtiger.
