2 de nov. de 2006 · Mott the Hoople was one of the most interesting British glam-rock bands of the 1970's. They started their recording career with Island Records as a progressive rock band. They released 4 fine ( though uneven ) records for Island during 1969-72, before they changed for CBS.
And verden grew a line or two. And overend's just a rock'n'roll star. Behind these shades the visions fade. As I learn a thing or two. Oh but if I had my time again. You all know just what I'd do. 5 de jun. de 2018 · The Ballad Of Mott The Hoople immortalised their Zurich split, Hymn For The Dudes exposed the absurdity of music-related fame and I Wish I Was Your Mother remains one of Hunter’s finest songs. The proto-punk Violence retained Mott’s earlier anger and Ian penned two cracking hit singles – Honaloochie Boogie (No.12) and All The Way From Memphis (No.10).
