Frankie Goes to Hollywood (FGTH) was een Britse popgroep uit Liverpool die in de jaren 80 erg populair was. De naam Frankie Goes to Hollywood is afkomstig van een poster over de filmcarrière van Frank Sinatra.. De band ontstond in de Liverpoolse Punkscene van de jaren 70.Hier vormden Peter Gill, Jed O'Toole en Brian Nash de band Sons of Egypt, samen met Holly Johnson als zanger.

Jed "Mondo" O'Toole was one of the original members of Frankie Goes to Hollywood alongside his brother Mark. Jed left the band making way for his cousin, Brian Nash (known as Nasher) before the band's first album. However, Jed re-joined the band for its worldwide tours in 1984 and 1987 as the 6th Frankie.
