Miami Vice trochu postrádá správnou jiskru nebo emocionální náboj, ale je to inteligentní, uspokojivý (+ o úroveň kvalitnější než např. Body of Lies ) i nádherně vypadající film, kde se navíc o onu vizuální stránku nestarají jen špeciální efekty, nýbrž i opojné scenerie a exotická prostředí, bohužel na věky se do paměti nejspíš nevryje.

I Danmark blev serien sendt på Danmarks Radio i 80'erne.
