The equals method code that you have provided is not from String class but from the Object class, which is overridden be the String class implementation which checks if the contents of the two objects are same or not. answered Apr 18, 2013 at 17:19.

The Vogues were once again a part of the Happy Together Tour in 2023, with Shawn Stevens filling in again for Bo Wagner. In the fall of 2023 it was announced that Shawn Stevens had joined The Duprees as a fulltime member. The Vogues will again be a part of the Happy Together tour in 2024, with the current line up of Elich, Taylor and McCoy.
