Alain Johannes es chileno de nacimiento y criado en EEUU. Desde muy joven instaló su nombre en la escena grande del rock mundial de los últimos 25 años gracias a su banda Eleven y asociaciones con Queens of the Stone Age, Chris Cornell, Mark Lanegan, Silverchair, Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Grohl y Matt Cameron (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam).
