20 de mar. de 2022 · Spring certainly isn't the worst Weezer album (don't worry, Pacific Daydream, that title still belongs to you!), but it's frustrating to hear them sabotaging their own songs in a futile attempt to pin down the sound of a season. So far, SZNZ feels less like a lofty concept and more like silly gimmick.

Aesthetically, he linked the project to 44 BC at the end of the Roman Republic (in contrast to the Celtic theming around SZNZ: Spring), with an intended emotion of "youthful indignation".. The album’s cover art was leaked on June 10, 2022 via a listing on Amazon France.
SZNZ: Spring. Time for a short review of a short release. This is Weezer’s first proper EP containing fully original songs and not just remixes or singles. It is the first in a set of 4 EPs due to be released across the year, each themed after the seasons. This is the Spring EP, fittingly released on this year’s equinox.
