  1. 26 de jul. de 2013 · It starts w the expected sound for the Naked & Famous but it really got me on an amazing mid-album plateau with #4 Rolling Waves and #5 The Mess. #6 Grow Old and #7 Golden Girl are deep and mellow, with some heavy reverb, #8 I Kill Giants and #9 What We Want are classic N&F. #11 To Move With Purpose is solid like Rolling Waves.

  6. In Rolling Waves is a truly excellent record and an impressive step up from the band's debut. It's also so vast that, to cover everything, this review would have to be twice as long… at least. For some this album might be too soft, since electric guitars are all but gone in favour of spacious layering and reverberance - the songs are still powerful, but not raw or gritty.

  7. 18 de sept. de 2013 · While In Rolling Waves aims to be staunchly cohesive in sound, there is an eclectic collection of genres flowing through the album. ‘I Kill Giants’ garners a rash attempt at the retro 80’s sound, while album opener ‘A Stillness’ is an interesting mix of vivacious synths, displaced vocals and strange production, in an attempt to be creatively different.
