Marty Sanders from The Empires joined the group and introduced the others to a powerful singer named David Blatt, who agreed to use the stage name Jay Black.
28 de mar. de 2023 · Howie Kane aka Howard Kirchembaum of Jay & The Americans passed away at the age of 78. Dennis Tufano announced this sad news on the social media page. The statement reads, “Howie Kane from Jay and the Americans has passed. He was the greatest guy, the real deal and funny. AKA The Chick Magnet will be missed. A piece of my heart goes with him.
