One of the more chaotic tracks re-recorded for ‘Amends’, Beyers’ slap bass and harmonised guitars from Bobby Benish are exchanged in the verses for more atmospheric textures.

The band literally was in the middle of recording their second album [1997's …No Sun Today] when we decided to just play this version of "The Syndrome" together.
