21 de oct. de 2023 · Chet McCracken, born on October 17, 1952, in Seattle, Washington, joined The Doobie Brothers as a drummer and percussionist in 1979, replacing Keith Knudsen. McCracken was part of the band’s lineup when they disbanded in 1982 and did not rejoin during the 1987 reunion. He played on the album “One Step Closer” (1980).
