Kings Priory School is an all-through school, catering for students aged 4 - 18 years old located in Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear. In September 2013, Kings Priory School was opened following the merger of The King’s School Tynemouth, an independent school, and Priory School, an outstanding primary school, to form an all-through academy in the heart of the vibrant coastal village of Tynemouth.

The Kings Priory School curriculum is broad and balanced; in order to create well-rounded individuals, we believe learning extends beyond what happens in the classroom. Our curriculum is structured into classroom, consolidation and exploratory tiers and our goal is to bring as many pupils as possible into the exploratory tier. N.B.
Kings Priory School is a popular and growing all-through Academy and we are delighted that it has become such a popular choice for many parents. Applications for places for Reception should be made using the North Tyneside Council common application process which is available on the Council's website.
