New album Kill Or Be Kind finds her moving away from the Americana sound of Belle Of The West, to something much closer to her earlier style, and altogether more blues/rock based. One thing that is very noticeable is that her singing voice has taken over from her "guitar" voice, that is to say that there is more emphasis on her vocals than her guitar playing on this record.
