14 de sept. de 2021 · Mills College will merge with Northeastern University, after a vote by the Board of Trustees on Tuesday. The partnership between the schools is expected to take effect on or around July 2022. This comes after months in court with the school’s Alumnae Association of Mills College, which has sued to get more information about the proposed deal.
8 de mar. de 2024 · Yes. Both undergraduate and graduate degree programs will be offered by Mills College at Northeastern. In the year ahead, the now combined faculty will develop and submit for accreditation new undergraduate and graduate academic programs that build on Mills’ and Northeastern’s strengths and create new educational opportunities for students.

17 de feb. de 2022 · Hannah Bluhm, a 2000 alumna of Mills who opposed the merger, said she wishes that Mills had merged with another women’s college. She felt safe at Mills, she said, and emboldened to take risks. “I accidentally took a computer programming class when I was a freshman, and we didn’t have a computer growing up,” she said.
