No hits were forthcoming, though, and Stiff apparently decided to clean Eric’s act up further, as is evident from the new-material first half of the double set, Big Smash!. Fresh faces in the band (who also collaborated with him on songwriting) and decidedly more commercial-minded production unfortunately seemed to have sanded off all of the Wreckless edges.

27 de jul. de 2016 · The debut album Wreckless Eric was released in June, 1978, and the second The Wonderful World Of Wreckless followed just four months later. It was a whole two years before Big Smash arrived. In terms of chart position this album was Wreckless Eric's most successful, peaking at #30 in the albums chart.
