15 de ene. de 2024 · In 1905 Liverpool City Council took over management of both schools and changed the name of the boy’s school to Liverpool Institute High School for Boys, which remained its official name until it closed in 1985. The school’s motto was ‘ Non Nobis Solum, Sed Toti Mundo Nati’ (Not for ourselves alone but for the whole world were we born.)
Architecture. The building is a peculiar collection of classically columned frontage with additions and fragmented satellite buildings of different eras.
