The composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter has worked with some of the biggest names in music, from Arctic Monkeys to Depeche Mode via Foals, Gorillaz and Kylie Minogue and as part of Simian Mobile Disco and The Last Shadow Puppets’ touring band.

Feels Good! , Geese’s 3D Country , Depeche Mode’s Memento Mori , the self-titled debut from Graham Coxon and Rose Elinor Dougall’s The WAEVE, and Blur’s first album in eight years, The Ballad of Darren .
I've followed James career as he grew up in the same small town as me, but the praise for this album isn't nepotism. The album is a musician/producers labour of love and uses the aforementioned influences, but has enough uniqueness to stand out from a lot of new music that are usually derivative re-treads of what's come before.
