Overview Dates Shadow Stories. With Shadowland, the tours since 2010 formed a trilogy, the concept being life in reverse. Talking Light focused on death and ghosts, Wonder of Weird on sex and life, and Shadowland was concerned with birth and reincarnation. Unlike the previous shows, Shadowland did not have a narrative running throughout.
HF: This tour represents the end of The Residents 40 th celebration. They decided to celebrate their 40 th anniversary (which was really in 2012) with a trilogy of tours. The first tour was the Talking Light, the second one was The Wonder of Weird – which really corresponded with their anniversary – and then the third one which is Shadowland.
